Natura Heights Wellness specializes in Complementary & Integrated Wellness and is owned and operated by Machelle R. W. Mitchell. Machelle had a career in the insurance industry for 17 years but her strong desire to help people in a more productive way moved her toward the healthcare field. Machelle feels privileged that she discovered Derwen Holistic Wellness Center, a school that provides the highest qualification in the field of Reflexology in the United States. Derwen proved to her that people can be helped through natural and non-invasive means.
Machelle is a graduate of the Derwen Holistic Wellness Center and is certified in Anatomy, Physiology and Reflexology. She was accredited by the Montrose Academy in Wales for Reflexology and also earned the prestigious award of being certified by the International Therapy Exam Counsil U.K. (ITEC) in Anatomy, Physiology and Reflexology. Machelle currently has the privilege of working as an assistant instructor at Derwen Holistic Therapies. Her credentials in complementary therapy include: Aromatherapy, Endocrine Therapy, Raindrop Therapy and specialized Reflexology for Infertility, Gestation, Childbirth and Postpartum.
Reflexology has been successful in promoting better health and well being.
It can be beneficial for:
When performing Reflexology at various events, clients laying back in the recliner are envied by passersby! We hear them saying, "Oh, they are getting a 'foot massage'." Or, "Oh, they are getting their 'feet rubbed'." However, once the Reflexologist discusses the imbalances they locate, those in the chair learn quickly that they are getting more than a 'foot massage'.
What makes an I.E.T.C Certified Reflexologist different?
The answer is: Their education. The International Education Therapy Council (I.E.T.C) is recognized in 33 countries as having the highest standards of quality and education in the field of Reflexology and Other Complementary Therapies. An I.E.T.C qualification means that a therapist has received an in-depth knowledge of Reflexology and is certified in Anatomy and Physiology.
More than just 'rubbing the feet', and I.E.T.C Certified Reflexologist has developed skills that enable them to administer a treatment that can assist those who are looking for natural ways to improve their health. The qualification also certifies them to work internationally.
So when you are searching for a Reflexologist, look for an I.E.T.C qualification.
